1. Wear resistant, high hardness, corrosion-resistant, low friction coefficient, it is an ideal material for precision instrument mechanical bearings;
2. It is wear-resistant, high hardness, corrosion-resistant, and has excellent transparency, making it the preferred cover material for high-end watches;
3. High strength, corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, high transmittance, and wide transmittance band (from near ultraviolet to 7um mid infrared band), it is an ideal window material and optical component material;
4. Excellent electrical insulation performance, hexagonal symmetrical structure, stable chemical properties, making it an excellent semiconductor and superconducting substrate material (with small leakage capacitance and parasitic capacitance);
5. The lattice constant mismatch rate between sapphire C-face and III-V and II-VI deposited thin films is small (less than 4% mismatch rate with GaN), making it currently the most important epitaxial substrate material for GaN blue LED and LD.
