1. Optical performance

High transmittance: With a transmittance of over 90% in the ultraviolet (190nm) to near-infrared (2500nm) wavelength range, it is suitable for wide spectrum applications.

Low dispersion: reduces chromatic aberration in optical systems and improves imaging quality.

2. Thermal and mechanical properties

The coefficient of thermal expansion is extremely low (0.5 × 10 ⁻⁶/℃), and it can withstand high temperatures up to 1713 ℃, making it suitable for high-temperature environments.

The Mohs hardness is about 7, with strong wear resistance, but attention should be paid to its brittleness.

3. Chemical stability

Acid and alkali resistant (except hydrofluoric acid), suitable for corrosive environments.


Typical application scenarios

Laser equipment: used as a light guide rod or focusing lens, such as 808nm semiconductor laser light guide crystal.

Medical equipment: Endoscope light guide components or laser therapy device components.
