Features

Optical performance: It has high transparency and low optical absorption in a wide spectral range from ultraviolet to infrared, and can transmit light clearly, especially in the ultraviolet band.

Thermal stability: The melting temperature is about 1713 ℃, and the coefficient of thermal expansion is extremely low. It can maintain stability under extreme temperature changes and is not easily deformed or broken due to temperature changes.

Chemical stability: It has excellent corrosion resistance to common chemical substances such as water, acid, and alkali, and can work stably in various chemical environments.

Mechanical performance: It has high hardness and good wear resistance, can withstand certain mechanical stress and pressure, and is not easily damaged.


Production process

Raw material preparation: Select high-purity natural quartz or synthetic quartz, and go through sorting, crushing, washing, purification and other processes to ensure that the purity and particle size of the raw materials meet the requirements.

High temperature melting: Place the processed raw materials into a furnace and melt them at a temperature above 1700 ℃ to form a uniform glass melt.

Cooling molding: Pour molten quartz into a specific mold, quickly cool and solidify, and make a light guide block blank.

Subsequent processing: Cutting, grinding, polishing and other processing are carried out on the blank to achieve the required size and surface smoothness.
